Final Results World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) 2026

The WTCS Finals aren’t limited to a single race! Each year, the World Triathlon organization puts on a true triathlon festival in Pontevedra: it hosts a full week of world-class events, with the World Triathlon Championship Finals, bringing together the international elite and enthusiasts of all levels.

This is how the week takes athletes on a journey between the sea, the roads and the streets of Pontevedra, in Spain 🧳, in the heart of Galicia. A must-attend event of the season, the 2026 World Triathlon Championship Series Finals crown the Elite, U23, Junior, Para triathlon and Age-Group world champions, and also count toward the Olympic qualification rankings for LA28. After the Parade of Nations and the opening ceremony, the Juniors, Age Groups, Para triathlon and U23 races got hearts pumping, then the mixed relays lit up Sunday. Now it’s time for the Elite Olympic-distance races (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run) to bring this WTCS Finals edition to a close in style. It will also be the last final under the WTCS banner: starting in 2027, the circuit will become the T50 World Championship Tour within the Triathlon World Tour.
