Come discover the San Francisco Marathon! One of the most legendary races in the USA, with distances for all levels along the bay and an iconic view of the Golden Gate Bridge 🤩
America was made to be explored one stride at a time. From coast to coast, the run is part of who we are !
New York, Miami, San Francisco, Detroit, New Orleans... How many of these cities do you know not from visiting, but from growing up with them in your favorite movies and TV shows? America lives in our imagination. But what if you made your own memories, one trip or one run at a time? Let’s start with a true icon: New York City. A cultural giant, the hometown of legends like Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese, and a marathoner’s dream. From Manhattan to the Bronx, Brooklyn to Queens and Staten Island, every neighborhood tells a different story and they’re best discovered on foot. Head down the East Coast to New Orleans, where music pours into the streets and jazz is still the city’s heartbeat 🎷. This Louisiana gem, home to legends like Louis Armstrong, is steeped in culture, flavor, and soul. In Miami, the sun-soaked streets are calling. And if you're looking for a unique running story, join local legend Robert “Raven” Kraft he's been running the sand of South Beach every day since 1975. Yes, every. single. day.
But America’s magic doesn’t stop in the cities. Let’s talk landscapes: the Rocky Mountains, stretching across six states and into Canada, are a wonderland for trail runners and nature lovers. From Yellowstone, to Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain to Glacier, you’ll find yourself surrounded by stunning peaks, alpine lakes, and maybe even a bear 🐻 from a safe distance, of course. Climbing westward, we land in California, where cultures blend and the pace picks up. Los Angeles and Hollywood dazzle with energy, while San Diego offers chill coastal vibes near the Mexican border. And then there’s San Francisco steep hills, sea breezes, and a spirit of freedom. It’s a place built for running, climbing, wandering, and discovering. Not far away? The glitz and neon glow of Las Vegas, rising out of the desert. It’s a surreal mix of casino lights and high-stakes dreams love it or hate it, there’s nowhere like it. And we can’t forget the great American frontier. Texas, Montana, Oregon where the cowboy spirit still rides on open plains. Not the Hollywood kind, but the ones herding cattle and living close to the land 🐄. So… ready to run?
