The Mont Ventoux Kookabarra Half Marathon is one of the must-attend events of the running season. Discover everything you need to know about this legendary 21.6 km race and find the results from the latest edition! 🏔️
The Mont Ventoux Kookabarra Half Marathon is like no other half marathon! Considered the toughest event in Europe over this distance, it stands out for its extraordinary profile, 100% uphill: the ultimate challenge of 21.6 km with 1,610 m of positive elevation gain, taking on the Giant of Provence.
That’s how a legendary ascent rises before the participants ⛰️. After getting their thighs burning from the village of Bédoin, then crossing the forest via the Cabane Jamet and the legendary Chalet Reynard, it’s then the turn of the dreaded Simpson memorial and the final gradients leading to the summit to crown the finishers at 1,910 m altitude.
