The Mont Ventoux Kookabarra Half Marathon is like no other half marathon! Considered the toughest race in Europe over this distance, it stands out for its extraordinary profile: 100% uphill—an ultimate challenge of 21.6 km with 1,610 m of elevation gain, taking on the Giant of Provence.
That’s how a legendary climb rises before the participants ⛰️. After warming up the thighs from the village of Bédoin, then crossing the forest via the Cabane Jamet and the iconic Chalet Reynard, it’s then the turn of the fearsome Simpson memorial and the final gradients leading to the summit to crown the finishers at 1,910 m altitude.
