"<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&amp;v=BAkqJT_sMKQ" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Feel the magic in the air, à-Laye, à-Laye, à-Laye</a>" 🙌In <a href="kavval://cities/f3e44ef8-ec2e-44b5-b373-106a391eccda" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Saint-Germain-en-Laye</a>, in <a href="kavval://level1AdminAreas/c9bc59ed-d09a-4e87-ba52-8422e00f902d" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Île-de-France</a>, the Purple Run reserves a lot of beautiful surprises that you won't forget any time soon 🎁. This <a href="kavval://tags/8f4b5272-ebbb-40e2-8952-7cd3ebf462a2" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">charitable</a> race, located in the east of the <a href="kavval://level2AdminAreas/0a3bc309-c46c-4c01-8ef9-6a25c6d33815" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Yvelines</a> department, is the perfect event to close your season under the last sunny days 🌅. With <a href="kavval://pages/c809acb4-a209-4539-a70a-d15d7110bbae" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">5 km</a>, <a href="kavval://pages/36cb519f-4d50-4a8f-823d-34dbe17cbd40" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">10 km</a>, or even hiking courses, you can enjoy the last rays of sunshine before the arrival of winter and the <a href="kavval://tags/0e87e99c-4871-4dbf-be00-e04ba5d2d1cb" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Christmas</a> season 🎅.In the month of <a href="kavval://pages/76475ad8-0e58-4f0e-a377-2e5984507e25" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">October</a>, get ready to see the <a href="kavval://cities/d554ec9d-1fd6-4810-be3f-13aa108299a1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Parisian suburbs</a> adorned with beautiful autumn colors 🍁. No purple in the program as the race's name might suggest, but likely beautiful shades of yellow, red, and orange to observe when looking up in the park of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teau_de_Saint-Germain-en-Laye" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye</a> 🏰. Throughout the course, you'll travel between <a href="kavval://tags/bd16213f-046f-45ed-bec8-4977e70ddc32" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">historical</a> heritage and natural <a href="kavval://tags/9aac2254-eb0d-4f02-a70e-ef56d14afd9d" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">immersion</a> in the state <a href="kavval://tags/e1d7f6d9-6a3f-4a71-821b-1b197592de44" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">forest</a>. You'll feel a bit like in the series "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Versailles_(TV_series)" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Versailles</a>", without the golden outfits but with a race bib 🎽. This <a href="kavval://tags/7e0097a4-8441-4b62-be97-457d65ec5fdb" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">château</a> hosted many of the greatest kings of <a href="kavval://countries/02f131b5-2117-4cc2-8074-e2330779abe8" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">France</a> 👑, so show that you are valiant enough to become the king of local KOMs 😎. As for the discipline: choose between <a href="kavval://pages/30300aa8-919d-44ac-8ca6-015258ce663e" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">running</a> and <a href="kavval://pages/5b49242e-6288-4e30-8649-74eb1ab8563f" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">fast walking</a>. If you're simply looking for an activity to liven up your weekend, the 5 km course will do the job. No need to leave with soreness to have a great day 😮‍💨. For the performers, the priority distance will be the 10 km. The <a href="kavval://tags/661f59bd-c4e4-4fb3-a111-0c89431a6ef6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">records</a> to beat are numerous, and round numbers make perfect goals: 1 hour, 50 minutes, 40 minutes, or even 30 minutes for the fastest in the group, what limit are you setting for yourself? 🤯 And for a little escape with family: a 5 km walk in nature is also on the menu 🗺️.But more than the effort, the real added value of this event is its purpose 🤗. Here you run for something bigger than a medal or your thighs. You give strength to those who fight against illness. The race partners with the Tout le Monde Contre le Cancer association and donates 100% of the profits: no more, no less 💸. You can feel it in the atmosphere: friendliness, kindness, and support are the keywords of this day 🗣️. You don't just come for your own time, you come to make the solidarity count skyrocket 📈. In October, come get a dose of happiness during the <s>Pulpe</s> Purple Run of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Germain-en-Laye" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Saint-Germain-en-Laye</a> 🧃.Once back in front of the beautiful local château, don't forget to explore the surroundings. To continue your medieval discoveries, head to the splendid <a href="https://www.chateauversailles.fr/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Château de Versailles</a> and its delightful gardens 🌷. No question of running in the gardens of this <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Versailles" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">mythical château</a>, here you'll enjoy every gilding, the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hall_of_Mirrors" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hall of Mirrors</a>, and elements like the Orangery 🍊, the Queen's Hamlet, or the Swiss Pool 💦. Nearby, you can also explore the historic streets of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and visit charming stores in the <a href="kavval://tags/d77fe708-04e5-481b-b70a-535bac5a9551" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">city center</a> 🛍️. If you're looking for an adventure with the family, head to the Thoiry Zoo, ensuring a wild Sunday surrounded by animals 🦁. Finally, heading towards Paris and for art lovers, the <a href="https://www.musee-orsay.fr/en" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Musée d'Orsay</a> or the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louvre" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Louvre Museum</a> will offer you unique experiences 🎨.So put on your best pair of shoes (if they're purple, even better 🟣) and join us in the Yvelines! 🚗
