It is said that to the west of the island, near Paphos, Aphrodite emerged from the foam 🌊. The goddess of love has lived on in Greek and Cypriot mythology ❤️. That’s why your next race is called the Aphrodite Half Marathon. In April, you have a date in Polis, in the region of Paphos for a race filled with mites myths ✍️. It is even said that the goddess Aphrodite bathed around Polis in a natural bath amidst luxuriant nature 🧖. This is where she met her lover Adonis, who fell in love with her by tasting the water in which she bathed 💞. It is said that the water of Polis has refreshing and relaxing properties... But that's for after the race 🤗. 

The Aphrodite Half Marathon offers you 3 distances in a perfectly idyllic setting 😍. You can choose between 21, 10, or 5 km starting from Polis, one of the most beautiful areas of the region 📍. The courses run along the seaside and offer you a setting you won't soon find elsewhere 📸. First, you'll make a detour to Evropis before heading straight towards Argaka ➡️. On the horizon, no treacherous turns, just a long straight line that will allow you to achieve a historic personal record 💨. Who knows, you might even enter mythology with your performance 🧝‍♀️. Moreover, all the odds are in your favor since in April, the weather is mild in Cyprus with temperatures ranging between 14 and 22 degrees 🌸. You will therefore enjoy the fresh and mild air of the region and fully enjoy your race 🏃. And if you don't like running, the 5 km can be done by walking 🥾 (this will give you more time to spot a chimera offshore 🧜‍♀️). The children will also have the right to participate in the myth, with a Kid's run of 1 km for everyone to enjoy 🧑‍🧑‍🧒. Ah! We almost forgot to ask you a crucial question: do you like Italian food? 🇮🇹 "Huh? Firstly, discover the Aphrodite's nature trail, a 7.5 km path that is simply majestic 🤩. You can also see for yourself the natural bath of Aphrodite, honestly, it's worth the detour ↩️. And if you want to see the birthplace of the goddess, head to the Petra tou Romiou, called Aphrodite's Rock 🪨. The legend says that "eternal youth" is promised if you bathe around the rock...🤫 Also visit the archaeological museum of Arsinoe, the church of Ayios Andronikos, or the many local beaches like Latchi Beach 🌊.
