Blueberry Run 2026

Are you craving unique sporting thrills in a truly idyllic atmosphere? The Blueberry Run in Olchowiec is an event that perfectly combines athletic competition with a family-friendly vibe 🏃! A route leading through picturesque landscapes is pure eye-candy and a great test for your legs. Participants can look forward to the flagship main race over 10 km and a dynamic Nordic Walking march, also over 10 km 🏅. These are ideal distances to test your speed or simply spend an active day outdoors.

Olchowiec is a smaller, charming town in the Podkarpacie region, but it’s in a very convenient location – you can get to Krosno and Sanok in about 45 minutes, and to Jasło in just over half an hour 🚗. Once you’ve crossed the finish line and regained your strength, the area invites you to discover its remarkable treasures:

A time trip for the whole family: Be sure to visit the nearby Karpacka Troja Archaeological Open-Air Museum in Trzcinica 🏹. It’s a fascinating place where adults and children can see reconstructions of hillforts from thousands of years ago and feel like real explorers.

Romantic ruins and mountain views: Head to nearby Odrzykoń with your other half for a stroll through the picturesque ruins of Kamieniec Castle 🏰. These very walls inspired Aleksander Fredro to write “The Revenge”!

Purple flavors of the region: Since it’s a blueberry run, after the race you absolutely have to try local baked goods 🤔! Look in local pastry shops for traditional sweet buns or tarts with wild berries and blueberries—they taste simply incredible here.
