The event in a few words

Imagine a 6.7km loop, a start every hour and no finish line. Welcome to the Chilcano Miles in Sainte-Barbe, in Moselle, where the only way to win is to be the last one to start another lap 🔁.

The principle, invented by the creator of the Barkley, fits in a single sentence: you have 60 minutes to complete your lap. The faster you go, the more time you gain to catch your breath, grab a snack or change your socks before the next start. Too slow? You're out. And if you last 24 hours, you've swallowed 100 miles, which is nearly four marathons back to back 🤯 On a backyard, speed matters less than your head: managing your effort, aid station strategy, patience. The perfect format to get a taste of ultra without aiming for a fixed distance.

The setting? Sainte-Barbe, a village in the Pays messin a few kilometers from Metz, in the middle of the Lorraine countryside. Between two recovery sessions, head over to the Château de Pange, an 18th-century residence, or go stretch your legs (if they still respond) on the Pays de Pange greenway, 12 km of flat path along the Nied.

Whether you're aiming for one more lap than your record or for victory at the end of the night, every whistle blast is a new duel with yourself. So, how far will you go? 💪
