The event in a few words

If you want a trail race with a taste of sea spray and true Breton character, the Trail de l'élorn in La Roche-Maurice drops you straight into the Finistère vibe: nature trails, just the right amount of punchy elevation, and a valley that makes you forget screens for good 🌿.

Here, you run in the heart of wild, luminous Brittany, between wooded paths, viewpoints, and sections where you think “ok, that was worth the detour” 🏞️. And then the Elorn is the perfect common thread: you follow the river, and it returns the favor by serving up big, wide-open scenery.

Two formats, two moods: the 11 km to treat yourself without burning out, and the 25 km if you want a real adventure to tell about (and a slightly crooked smile at the finish) 🥾.

A tip from a local guide: come early, enjoy the calm around the village, and keep a little fuel for the end… La Roche-Maurice likes to surprise you when you think it’s “over” (spoiler: not always).

After the effort, keep the journey going just a stone’s throw from the start: go see the Château de La Roche-Maurice and the Saint-Yves Chapel, then head out for a stroll along the Elorn to let the pressure drop gently 🍻. If you want to extend things in discovery mode, Landerneau is right next door for a walk, and the Cranou Forest is waiting if you’re still craving greenery (with family or as a duo, it’s perfect).

You come to run, you leave with a corner of Brittany in your legs… and that’s no legend! 🤝
