The event in a few words

Want a race that doesn’t waste time with small talk?

The Kilomètre Vertical de Fully is 1,000 m of climbing swallowed up in not even 2 km: the fastest KV in the world, nothing less 🚀. Here, no flat sections to catch your breath—you set off in a time trial from the Belle-Usine (500 m) and climb straight up to Garettes (1,500 m), on a slope that exceeds 50%.

Fair warning: poles become your best friends, a helmet is mandatory, and your calves will remember for a long time that endless straight line through the forest 💪. And the little bonus that changes everything: part of the route crosses the famous Fully vineyards, so you’re literally climbing through one of the most beautiful vineyards in Valais 🍇.

After the effort, you have to try the famous lasagna party waiting for you at the finish. On the way back down, take time to enjoy the area: head over to the medieval village of Saillon and its tiny Farinet Vineyard, then make for the Saillon Baths so your legs finally forgive you for the slope ♨️. Looking for a family plan? Head to Martigny and its Fondation Gianadda, or Barryland to fall for the Saint Bernard dogs.
