Two formats await you. The 5 km is perfect for treating yourself and enjoying a lovely morning on the move. The 10 miles, or about 16 km, is ideal if you want to take on a real challenge on the roads of the Emmental, with the pride of the finish line as your reward ⛰️.

Start with Burgdorf Castle, which overlooks the town. You'll gain some height there, and not just in the rankings. From its walls, the view over the rooftops and hills is superb 🏰.

Then head back down to wander through the old town and its cobbled alleys, with its terraces where a little drink is calling your name. You can also step into the Franz Gertsch Museum, for a cultural break that rests your legs. And if the sun is out, walk along the banks of the Emme for a relaxed stroll, alone, as a couple or with the family.
