Janosik Ultra Race 2026

Prepare for a bandit's adventure where your legs and character will be put to a tough test ⛰️. Niedzica is the heart of this event, where the start and finish line at the foot of the castle create an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. You can choose the epic Legend route of 75 km or tackle the challenging 40 km, and for fans of slightly shorter (but still mountainous!) challenges, there are distances of 20 km, 10 km, and the night 3 km 🏃. Every meter is a fight for survival and an amazing satisfaction when you finally cross the finish line 🏁.

After the race, the area offers so many attractions that it's worth staying here for a whole week. Be sure to visit Niedzica Castle, where according to legend, the Inca treasure is hidden, just a few steps from the finisher zone, making it the perfect plan for a walk 🏰. If your muscles need rescuing, head to nearby Sromowce Wyżne for a Dunajec raft trip – relaxation surrounded by vertical cliffs that will delight the whole family 🛶. In less than an hour, you can also reach picturesque Szczawnica to walk along the Promenade on Grajcarek and drink healing water at the Zdrojowa Drinking Hall 🥤. For a regenerating lunch, be sure to order moskole, traditional flatbreads cooked on a griddle served with garlic butter, which taste best after mountain exertion 🥔. This race is simply a bandit's masterpiece! 🎖️
