Here, in L’Escale, in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, you alternate between nature, forest and mountains, with that little hint of Provence that makes you feel like you’ve escaped just a stone’s throw from the start line 🌲.

You can choose between two formats: the 5 km to treat yourself without burning out (perfect if you want to keep some juice for after), or the 10 km to extend the outing and chase a real “wow” moment in the local terrain ⛰️.

After you cross the finish line, don’t rush off: just a few minutes away, you can go sit by the Durance for a peaceful cool-down to the sound of the water, take a detour to nearby Château-Arnoux–Saint-Auban to keep the outing going in discovery mode, or head to Sisteron and its Citadel for that well-earned “postcard” touch.
