The Lower Silesian Mountain Running Festival is the true "Roland Garros" of Polish trail running. Held in July in the picturesque town of Lądek-Zdrój, the festival offers routes for everyone – from absolute beginners to ultra-runners with legs of steel. The crown distance is the mythical Seven Summits Run (240 km), but you can also choose Super Trail (130 km), K-B-L (110 km), Golden Marathon (45 km), or the fast Golden Thirty (33 km) and Trojak Trail (10 km) 💨. The routes lead through the most beautiful corners of the Kłodzko Land – from Śnieżnik, through the Bialskie Mountains, to the Złote Mountains. The atmosphere in the festival village, where hundreds of runners share their stories to the sound of music, is simply unmatched ✨.
Once you cross the finish line in Lądek and your legs remember how to walk on flat ground, Kłodzko Land (just under two hours from Wrocław) offers the best kind of recovery 🏰:
Zdrój Wojciech: This is the jewel of Lądek-Zdrój. A bath in a marble pool with thermal water under a Neo-baroque dome is a must-do for couples looking for relaxation after exertion 🧖♂️.
Bear Cave in Kletno: Just a 20-minute drive from Lądek. It's one of the most beautiful caves in Poland – the stalactites and stalagmites will amaze any family with children (remember to book in advance!) 🐻.
Kłodzko Fortress: A monumental structure with a system of underground mining tunnels that will transport you to the times of Prussian soldiers and provide a dose of adrenaline even after the run 🏰.
Fried cheese with tartar sauce: Being so close to the Czech border, be sure to try this classic from our neighbors or in local inns – it's a calorie bomb your body will crave after an ultra distance 🧀!
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
