The event in a few words

Mazovian Fifteen is a race that enjoys great popularity in Mińsk Mazowiecki thanks to its unusual distance. 15 km is the ideal “halfway” length between the classic 10K and a half marathon – for many runners it’s a great test of form before longer starts, already requiring proper pacing, yet still very dynamic ✨. Mińsk Mazowiecki as the host provides excellent organization, a fast course (often leading through scenic suburban areas or the city streets), and very lively cheering from the residents.

Once you’ve finished your run and caught your breath, Mińsk Mazowiecki and the surrounding area offer places where you can recover 🏰:

Municipal Park of the Doria-Dernałowicz Family: This is the “green heart” of Mińsk. After the race it’s an ideal spot for a walk – the historic manor house, ponds, and old trees create an atmosphere conducive to calming down and letting your legs recover after 15 kilometers 🌳.

Museum of the Mińsk Land: If you want to learn about the region’s history, it’s worth stopping by the museum. It’s a short but interesting lesson in local history that will help you cool down a bit after the running effort 🏛️.

Active recovery in the forest: The area around Mińsk is very green. If you still have a bit of energy for a leisurely walk, the nearby coniferous forests offer clean air that will oxygenate your body nicely after an intense run 🌲.

After such a substantial distance, your body will need a solid dose of energy. Local spots in Mińsk serve delicious Polish cuisine – from pierogi to hearty meats that will get you back on your feet wonderfully 🥟
