Runmageddon Ełk is a legendary clash with mud, water, and sand in the very heart of the Masurian Lake District, which guarantees a hot atmosphere – and not just because of the temperature, but also the obstacles! 🧊🔥Ełk offers a unique course that makes use of the city’s assets: a run through the lake, crawling on the city beach, and obstacles set against the backdrop of the Ełk promenade. Available formats usually include: Intro, Recruit, Classic, or Family!

After you’ve washed the mud off yourself (which in Ełk can take a while!), the city offers great options for recovery:

Promenade on Lake Ełk: Over 6 km of paths along the water. The perfect place for a calm walk to “walk off” the soreness and enjoy the views that, during the race, you were passing at a sprinter’s pace 🌊.

Observation tower: If you still have strength in your legs, climb to the top to see a panorama of Ełk and the surrounding lakes – the view from 19 meters lets you appreciate the scale of the terrain you’ve just conquered 🔭.

Ruins of the Teutonic Castle: They are located on an island connected to the mainland by a bridge. Although it’s mostly ruins, they have their own distinctive, raw atmosphere 🏰.

And to replenish calories? Local restaurants such as Między Wierszami or Restauracja Dos Patos are exactly what a “Runmageddoner” needs after burning a few thousand calories 🥩.
