Higher and stronger! 😎
You won't gain altitude at the Bois des Forts, but you might be incredibly strong! 🤓 If you plan to beat your personal best in May, just before summer, the Green Strides of Téteghem, the trails of Bois de la Forêt near Téteghem-Coudekerque-Village will be perfect for burning rubber! 🔥 Yes, the North and its Hauts-de-France region are not known for hills, so you can speed through! 💨
The distances are designed to chase the clock: 5 or 10 km! 🏃 The courses will be the same, one or two loops in the Bois des Forts, next to the Dunkirk golf course and the Fort de Vallières ⭐️. You'll start from the center of Coudekerque and quickly head to the forest 🌳. You'll be in the best environment to disconnect and focus on your race and goals... ⏱️ Or enjoy the scenery and the birds' songs if you're not there for performance! 🐦⬛ In fact, it's the perfect event for families: 3 children's races are offered right in the village center 🤗. You won't have any excuse to back out because a 10 km walk is also organized, passing close to the Fort and the golf course! Watch out for stray balls 🫣.
In addition to running a race in full nature, you'll be participating in the Challenge of the Dunes of Flanders! 🏜️ The Green Strides of Téteghem are part of the 13 events in the challenge that take place on races in the region from March to October! It's the addition of all your times throughout the year that will make you the champion of the dunes (a bit like Paul Atreides in Dune) 💪.
To train like a pro and become the strongest on the local trails, you absolutely must visit! So after crossing the finish line in glory, explore the city of Dunkirk, famous for its impressive belfry 🏰 and endless beaches: the famous "Dunes of Flanders" 😍. Or, set out to conquer Bergues, where another belfry resides, smaller but where the 206 steps lead to the 50 bells of the carillon 🔔.
Don't wait any longer to hear the bells ring your victory at the Green Strides of Téteghem ! 🤩
For the 10 km walk, you will enjoy the tranquility and the green surroundings of the Fort Woods! 🌳 You will walk entirely around it, cross its islets, and even admire the Fort Vallières, the Dunkerque golf course and the Coudekerque Canal 🚣♂️.
Around the Bois des Forts, it's going to be a fast, very fast run! 💪
You will start in the heart of the village of Coudekerque and will head to the Bois des Forts where you will take a big tour during which you can admire the Dunkerque golf course (watch out for stray balls 🫣)! Trails, forest and no elevation: the ideal for enjoying and beating your PR 😎.
You can pick up your bib on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Jean-Marie Vandenbroucke Hall, in the town hall square of Coudekerque-Village.
All races start at the Coudekerque-Village town hall square on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
