The event in a few words

At the Barbey Hikes, you come looking for a real breath of fresh air… and you leave with memories felt in your legs 🌲.

The route sets the scene: Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, in the heart of Manche, in Normandy, where the forest whispers, “come on, one more little loop” 🏰.

The playground is simple and magnificent: nature trails, stretches under the trees, a “family” vibe that carries you along, and that little medieval touch nearby that makes it feel like you’re running through a postcard 🍃.

As for formats, you choose your adventure: 10 km to enjoy yourself without burning out, 12 km (yes, you can come back for it), 15 km for a real full loop, or 25 km if you want to tell yourself a great story from start to finish 🧭.

And after the effort, head to the Château de Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, perfect for extending the vibe, then take a detour to the Sainte-Trinité Abbey to wind down gently. If you want an easy family stroll or a walk for two, head to the Saint-Sauveur Forest for a recovery walk on moss and ferns, or set a course for Barneville-Carteret to breathe in the sea air and finish with a drink on a terrace facing the coastline! ☀️
