The event in a few words

Tiger Run is pure madness and a survival school, held in Orzysz, which for good reason bears the title of Poland’s Military Capital. Forget clean shoes and nice photos from the route – here, mud, training-ground sand, barbed wire, and obstacles rule, making you feel like you’re in selection for special forces units! 💥

It’s an obstacle course race (OCR) with a military character, staged on the grounds of the Orzysz Training Area. The flagship distance is the murderous “Big Barrel,” but there are also versions for the “Smaller Tigers.” Water-filled trenches, crawling under armored personnel carriers, and climbing structures that test your grip strength are waiting for you.

Orzysz, despite its harsh military vibe, also has its other, more welcoming face:

Museum of the Army, Military Affairs, and the Orzysz Region: a must-see. You’ll understand there why this town is so thoroughly steeped in the smell of gunpowder and the history of arms 🎖️.

Lake Orzysz: After the fight on the training ground, nothing tastes better than a jump into the water (this time clean!). The lake has a very varied shoreline and is a paradise for anglers and kayakers 🛶.

Kayaking trails hub: Orzysz lies on the route between Lakes Śniardwy and Mamry. If you still have strength left in your arms, a kayak is a brilliant way to actively recover 🌊.

Hearty “Barracks-Style” Cuisine: At the finish line, the legendary military pea soup often awaits, but in the town itself look for local fish fry spots. Masurian vendace is the best reward for “surviving” the training ground 🐟.

Tiger Run isn’t a competition for everyone – it’s a race for those who want to find out where their pain threshold lies and come back home with a smile (and a kilogram of sand in their ears) … ✨ Tiger, see you on the training ground! 🏁🐾
