The Trail de l’Escalo is the kind of meet-up that makes you forget the couch from the very first steps, amid nature, forest and mountains around L’Escale, in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence 🏞️.

Here, you come to have fun and be surprised: trails that smell of pine, sections where you look up “just for two seconds” (and you almost stop), and that village vibe where everyone knows each other… even if it’s your first time 😉.

You pick your adventure à la carte: 7 km to get started and enjoy yourself without burning out, 11 km for a format that’s “just right”, or 30 km if you want the great-escape version, the one that makes you say “OK, now I’ve really traveled” ⛰️.

And after you cross the finish line, you can take a stroll along the Durance to bring the pressure back down, hop over to Sisteron and its Citadel (views guaranteed, calves delighted), head out toward Lake Serre-Ponçon for some fresh air, big-blue style, or take a detour via Forcalquier to wander around and settle on a terrace like a champ 🧭.

You come for the race, you leave with a weekend that smells like Provence: a bit of wood, a bit of rock, lots of smiles… and you in the middle, telling yourself that “l’Escalo” ultimately made you climb high in the best memories 🍷.
