It's impossible to resist the call of the Trail of Pommard, a nature race that takes you running in the heart of Pommard, in Côte-d’Or, amidst the emblematic landscapes of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté 🍇. Organized in February, this winter trail offers two accessible distances, designed for nature running enthusiasts as well as trail runners seeking a lively challenge at the start of the season. Here, you come in search of sensations, elevation suited to your measure, and above all a unique immersion among vineyards, paths, and Burgundian landscapes.
The playground is typically vinicultural and hilly, alternating between white paths, natural trails, and passages right through the vineyard 🌿. The routes offer a playful profile, with nice recoveries and some sections that remind you that running in winter requires a bit of management. The 9 km format is ideal to discover trail running or to get back in shape, while the 15 km offers a more complete outing without venturing into extremes.
What truly sets the Trail of Pommard apart is its exceptional setting, deeply rooted in the identity of the village 🍷. Running amid the vineyards, in a scenery rich with history and heritage, gives the race a special flavor. It's a trail where the landscape is clearly part of the experience, just as much as the effort.
Around the courses, the atmosphere is designed to be friendly and local, driven by dedicated volunteers and a village spirit that's a pleasure to see 😊. The Trail of Pommard is also an opportunity to share a simple, authentic, and warm sporting moment, true to the Burgundian spirit.
A trail that stings a bit on the legs, warms up the atmosphere... and makes you want to come back and enjoy the scenery 😄.
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
