This official UTMB World Series event invites runners to traverse an island shaped by volcanism, between craters <a href="kavval://tags/d15e1068-680e-46ce-8d13-74252f350ac4" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">volcanic</a>, ancient lava tubes, forests, and wild coasts. Held in the fall, the race highlights the natural and cultural wealth of Jeju, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and contrasting landscapes. Several trail formats are offered, allowing everyone to gradually immerse themselves in this unique environment, from discovery trails to long-distance adventures.The TransJeju by UTMB® course explores some of the island's most iconic sites 🌿. The longest formats take runners up to Mount Hallasan, the highest point in South Korea, with a memorable passage by the crater lake located at its summit. Other distances offer the chance to discover panoramic trails leading to the village of Gaisiri, known for its traditional culture and preserved natural setting. Throughout the route, the landscapes alternate between volcanic areas, natural paths, and coastal sections, offering a rare variety in a single event.What makes TransJeju by UTMB® truly unique is its island and volcanic nature 🌏.
