Triathlon of the Gods 2026

Get ready to take on three disciplines in a legendary setting at the Triathlon of the Gods 🏊🚴🏃, on the sublime Costa degli Dei, in Tropea, in Calabria! An accessible, spot-on sprint format: 750 m swimming, 20 km cycling, 5 km running to get a taste of triathlon in a unique setting 👍.

The swim takes place opposite the mythical rock of Santa Maria dell'Isola 🏝️, with the Aeolian Islands as a backdrop — an event that’s decidedly Seaside and Unusual place 🌊. Then the bike leg speeds along the “Coast of the Gods” before a run at the foot of the Pearl of the Tyrrhenian.

And Tropea is well worth lingering in: its hilltop sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola, its alleyways hanging above the sea, and its beaches among the most beautiful in Italy 🏖️—not to mention its famous cipolla rossa (red onion) 🧅.
