Winter Poland Bike Marathon 2027

The event in a few words

Who said winter is a time for the trainer? Winter Poland Bike Marathon in Warsaw’s Wawer district is one of the most popular winter cycling races in Poland. When the trails are covered with snow or slushy mud, cyclists rise to the challenge!

Riders can choose from several varied distances: from the flagship Max (approx. 30–40 km) for the tough guys, through the spectacular Mini (approx. 20 km), all the way to the short Fan distance for children and youth. The route is packed with Wawer dunes, singletracks, and roots, which in winter guarantee a massive dose of adrenaline. The race base is very well connected – you can easily get to Wawer by car or by Warsaw’s SKM/KM commuter rail 🚊.

And after a successful race, it’s time to relax:

A walk along the paths of Mazovian Landscape Park: After the race, it’s worth slowing down. The local pine forests, peat bogs, and dunes (e.g., around the “Sea Eye” in Otwock) look absolutely fairytale-like in winter 🌲.

Relax by the frozen Świder: The valley of the Świder River delights with its wild character and charming beaches, which in winter offer incredible peace and perfect conditions for a romantic walk 🌊.

A visit to the iconic Świdermajers: Discover the unique wooden holiday architecture from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries along the Otwock line. The openwork decorations of the houses are hugely impressive 🏛️.

A warming lunch near Warsaw: After a frosty cycling competition, you need to replenish calories. Local inns and restaurants serve hearty chicken broth, homemade pierogi, and hot chocolate that gets you back on your feet in no time 🍲.

Get your winter tires ready, check your brakes, and feel the fire of cycling competition in Wawer!
