The event in a few words

Set course for the legendary city of Malibu in Los Angeles County, right in the heart of Southern California 🇺🇸. The weekend lineup spotlights two full-scale events for die-hard triple-effort fans. The Olympic distance has you taking on 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling, and 10 km of running. Fans of slightly shorter formats head out on a classic course offering around 800 m of swimming, 27 km in the saddle, and 6.4 km of running 🚴‍♂️.

Your ride will slice through the sea air straight along the legendary Pacific Coast Highway, with steep cliffs on one side and waves on the other 🌊. The run segment then pounds the asphalt of Zuma Beach, offering a constant panorama of the blue horizon. The place’s cinematic identity hits you head-on, since this stunning beach served as a natural set for numerous scenes from the cult series Baywatch 🎬.

Locals packed along the vast stretches of sand scream encouragement until they shred their vocal cords. A vibrant, fiercely glamorous energy carries you all the way to the finish arch set up facing the massive Pacific swells 🌴.

Save a bit of juice in your calves to explore the region’s treasures less than an hour away by car. Bring your other half along for a jaw-dropping time-warp into ancient Rome by visiting the sumptuous Getty Villa perched in the hills 🏛️. Also lead your crew on a wild hike in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains to explore the impressive Point Mugu canyons. Punch your ticket to the American dream in the blink of an eye and come take on the swells of the West Coast! 💥
