What makes the Médoc Marathon unlike any other?

The Médoc Marathon is nothing like a classic marathon: costumes are encouraged, around twenty wine tastings along the route, and gourmet refreshment stops (oysters, rib steak, cheese). Since 1985, 8,500 runners from 75 countries have crossed the vineyards and châteaux of Pauillac. Here, performance takes a back seat to celebration.
