And what if this philosophy could sum up the spirit of the Medoc Chateaux Marathon ? 😜 Here, we don't just run for the 42.195 km, but also to savor every moment in an exceptional setting, at the heart of the most prestigious vineyards of Gironde. Since 1985 (mythical year, the last French victory in the Tour de France! 🇫🇷), nearly 8,500 runners from 75 countries meet each year in Pauillac 📍 for a truly unique event 🤓. The dress code? A flamboyant costume, of course! 🕺 Because here, we don't just run; we celebrate life, landscapes, and the art of French hospitality 🤗.

You will cross some of the most prestigious vineyards and castles in the region 🏰, from Pauillac to Saint-Estèphe, through Saint Julien Beychevelle and the AOC Haut-Médoc, in a festive yet refined atmosphere. Between strides, let yourself be tempted by exceptional wine tastings 🍷, meetings with passionate winemakers, and breathtaking landscapes. This is the "wine-sports" spirit: combining effort and pleasure, respecting the wine tradition 🍇. Your weekend will be as rich as the Medoc terroirs: opening party on Friday, legendary race on Saturday, a day of gourmet recovery (and well-deserved!) on Sunday, and an epicurean village to beautifully close the adventure 🥰. And even before the start, a taste of magic awaits you with an exceptional evening organized in the majestic Château Beychevelle.

Along the route, orchestras, bands, and entertainment will accompany you for an ever more cheerful atmosphere 🎉. Among music groups, gourmet breaks (oysters, cheeses, ice creams, rib steak and many other culinary surprises 🤤), and 50 animations planned, there will be something for every taste and desire. Be warned: here, we do not skimp on friendliness! 🍻 But be cautious to preserve the memory of this adventure… Because the Medoc Chateaux Marathon, is much more than a race: it is a celebration of the art of living, where every detail counts.
