The event in a few words

You love rugby and running but don’t know which activity to choose for the weekend? 🎯 Well, I think we’ve got the solution for you! In September, the Stade Toulousain is organizing its very first race where a passion for rugby meets a love of running 🏉. In Toulouse, you can be sure the pride of the city is the rugby club Stade Toulousain. In the Pink City 🩷, you wake up rugby, you eat rugby, and you know the rest—you sleep rugby 🛌. Besides, we want to remind you that this year Stade Toulousain brought home its 24th Bouclier de Brennus, nothing less 🏆. The seed of a champion seems to grow pretty well in Toulouse 🌱—all that’s missing is you to come and confirm it 👇.

Well, you’ve got it: no need for boots 🥾. Just bring your sneakers 👟, your determination, and above all your smile 😁. Stade Toulousain really wants to highlight the values it shares throughout the year with a friendly and unifying event centered on sport and health 💘. This 10 km is the perfect opportunity to invite seasoned runners 🚀 as well as new runners 🏃‍♂️. Whether you’re looking to smash your personal best or you’re pinning on a bib for the first time 🥰, the most important thing is to give it your all. Here, it’s not about joining the scrum but rather the finish line—so it’s up to you not to kick it into touch! 🏁 And good news: even children will have their own match 🧒.

Running is tough on the legs and the lungs 😮‍💨, but it’s great for the eyes! 😍 The 10 km of the Stadium is an excellent way to discover the Toulouse city and its must-see spots 😎. The starting signal will be given from the Rocade synthetic field, then you’ll head off to discover the iconic Place Saint-Pierre and its bars that keep Toulousains dancing 🕺. You’ll pass by emblematic places like the bar chez Tonton 🍻 or the Prairie des Filtres 🌳. For the rest of the route, we’ll leave you a few surprises to discover on race day! 🎁 As for the atmosphere, you’ll be well served! 🥳 The organizers have thought of everything: a stage, an announcer, a DJ, a chill zone, a refreshment stand, and the famous bodega going wild, well known among rugby lovers 🍻.

Now that we’ve told you everything we know, we’re counting on you to join the start line 🏎️. Don’t forget your headphones so you can listen to Ô Toulouse by Claude Nougaro as you run 🎶. After that, you might almost become a true Toulousain 😉.

4 reasons to join this race

Get into the scrum 🏉
All set—helmet and mouthguard on? ⛑️ Just kidding, of course, but still, this race is a little taste of the scrum... 🔥You’ll start right at the foot of a legendary stadium that has seen many champions of the oval ball 🏟️. So whether you like it or not, this race will at least get one foot into the scrum! 👣
Push yourself in a great atmosphere 🥳
In rugby—and in sport in general—it’s important to pass on the right values! ❤️ Those values of solidarity and pushing yourself, we can assure you you’ll find them on the 10 km of the Stadium. You’ll meet people, run with them, push yourself with them, and that’s what we love about sport 🥳.
Discover the Pink City 🌷
Ô Toulouse, sang a certain Claude Nougaro! 🎼 Toulouse is the city of red brick—that’s what sets the tone 🟥. By following the bricks, you’ll discover iconic places like Place Saint-Pierre and the banks of the Garonne 👀.
Eat delicious Toulouse cassoulet 🍲
After the effort, the comfort! 😋 In Toulouse, there are plenty of great things to see—and to eat too. After you’ve worked hard, what could be better than a delicious Toulouse cassoulet? 🍲 Toulouse sausage, beans, loads of ingredients that will help you get your strength back 💪.

A few more words

The kickoff will be given at the legendary Ernest Wallon Stadium! 🏟️

You’ll set off along the banks of the Garonne alongside your scrum mates 🏉. All together, like a rugby team, you’ll head out to be cheered through the streets of the Pink City! 🥳 Pont des Catalans, Prairie des Filtres and the Ponts-Jumeaux, the essential elements of Toulouse life will be on your way 🤩. And when we say essential, it necessarily means a passage through Place Saint-Pierre and in front of the bar Chez Tonton - Pastis Ô Maître, where you can celebrate the third half! 🍻

But before that, back to Ernest Wallon to cross the finish line and turn the try into a victory at the 10 km from the Stadium! 🏆
