50 Km di Calabria & 8 Ore di Calabria 2026

Get ready for a real ultra challenge at the 50 Km di Calabria 🏃, Calabria’s premier endurance event, starting from Curinga (CZ) in Calabria! Whether you’re a seasoned ultrarunner aiming for 50 km, or a fan of the 8-hour time-trial format—a timed race ⏱️—there’s a challenge made for you (with relay options over 9, 6, and 32 km too) 👍.

The course is all of Calabria in a single race: first you climb mountain roads toward Monte Contessa, cross an off-road section, then tip into a long descent all the way to the sea 🌊—a decidedly Mountain 🏔️ adventure linking the inland to the shoreline of Acconia. The finish is decided on a 1 km loop, repeated five times to complete the 50K.

Labelled IAU Bronze and listed in the IUTA Grand Prix, it is organized by Atletica Curinga. While you’re there, don’t miss the monumental Platano di Curinga, a giant plane tree several centuries old, nor the beaches of the Gulf of Sant’Eufemia 🏖️.
