The event in a few words

This is undoubtedly one of the most photogenic, but also one of the most demanding triathlons in Poland. The name refers to the highest elevation of the Jura – Janowski Mountain (511 m a.s.l.), and the race base is located in Podzamcze, right at the foot of the majestic ruins of Ogrodzieniec Castle. It’s a run through history etched into limestone rocks, and the running course often follows paths around rock outcrops and defensive walls. Finishing beneath Ogrodzieniec Castle, among limestone giants, is one of the most spectacular sights you’ll see at the finish line. 🏃‍♂️🏰

Once you’ve conquered the Jurassic “511” and your legs feel the weight of history, it’s time to recover in the atmosphere of the Eagles’ Nests:

Explore Ogrodzieniec Castle: A walk through the ruins is a great way to “walk off” the soreness. The views from the towers over the Jura panorama have a soothing effect on a tired mind, and the cool walls offer relief on hot days. 🏰🛡️

Relax by the rock outcrops: The Jura is a land of picnics. Find a patch of grass under one of the crags (e.g., below Janowski or the nearby Rzędkowice Rocks) and simply lie back, watching the climbers. It’s natural mindfulness. 🧘‍♂️🧗‍♂️

Park of Physical Experiences: If you’re with family, there’s an educational park right below the castle. A calm visit and some fun are a good way to get back to reality after the race. 🎢🧪

511 Jura Triathlon is an event for those who love nature and aren’t afraid of elevation gain. Here, you’re not only racing against the clock, but against the raw limestone terrain, which repays everything at the finish with its magic. 🏁
