Your tibias Péronnas, uh, your tibias fibulas are going to be seriously put to the test 😁.
In the month of September, we invite you to l'Ain in Ceyzériat, just minutes from Péronnas, for a festive and friendly 🫂 event. In the absence of summer warmth, you'll find the warmth of sharing and solidarity to warm your heart and freshly tanned skin 💗. The Ainbattable is a race where you'll overcome your own goals. Competition takes a back seat, everyone finishes as number Ain in their own ranking 🏅. The emphasis is on mutual help, self-improvement and personal pride 🥹. In this spirit, the event is accessible to both able-bodied athletes and those with disabilities. We share the same path and face the same obstacles ⚡️. Rest assured, even if you come alone, you'll never feel left out 😉.
For this new edition, the organizers offer you several distances, accessible to all levels 💥. 2 km, 5 km, 10 km or 18 km: you choose the difficulty of your challenge 🫵. If you are a top performer looking to break records, no problem, the 10 km course has only 100 mD+ and is mostly on tarmac 🛣️. You'll be able to spin your legs at full speed 🏃. For more experienced runners, an 18 km road race starts in the early afternoon 🌞. The few trails in the surrounding fields will break up the tarmac routine and let you discover the landscapes of eastern France 🇫🇷. More timid participants or newcomers to the discipline can align with the 2 km or 5 km 👟 courses. The elevation is almost zero, offering a first impression of what the event feels like on a festive weekend 😋. To make the event even more inclusive, the children's course of 2 km is free of charge 🤯. This way, everyone can participate, regardless of their budget 💰. Clearly, the organization is Ainbattable when it comes to inclusivity 😎.
Organized in the north of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, this race will allow you to enjoy the local peculiarities 🌅. From the renowned regional gastronomy to the magnificent natural environment, you'll return with plenty of memories (and a full stomach 🤣). For culture enthusiasts, the historic city of Bourg-en-Bresse will be an ideal rallying point, with the Royal Monastery of Brou and its impressive Gothic architecture 🏰. If you're looking to extend your weekend with a sports theme, you can also check out the calendar for the national rugby championship 🏉: the local USBPA club has been competing there for several seasons! 💜 Finally, a visit to the Dombes, with its ponds and bird park, will reconnect you with nature and serenity 🦢.
So, ready to take on the challenge? Ain, two, three, go... for the solidarity race at Ainbattable! 💪
Message from the organizer:
"Dear participants, welcome to Ainbattable, an event like no other! Here, sport rhymes with inclusion, friendliness, and self-improvement. Whether you are a seasoned runner, an occasional walker, or just curious to share a memorable moment, you will find your place among us. We wanted to create an event where able-bodied individuals and those with disabilities meet at the same starting line, where children can have fun and push themselves, and where everyone can experience sport in good spirits and respect for all. After the effort, it's time for the Paella Party, accompanied by a delicious apple pie, so we can all come together, share our achievements, and enjoy a warm moment with family or friends. Thank you for participating in this beautiful human and sporting adventure. Together, let's make this day unforgettable!"
After starting from the Moland Path, you'll begin your run with 6 km of relatively flat and smooth terrain 🏃♀️. Not many gradients to declare. However, starting from km 7, things get complicated and the path gradually inclines 😎. But if you're well-trained enough, you should barely feel the uphill 😝.
At km 12, you'll brush past the village of Ramasse. Take the opportunity to catch your breath on the descent and continue on the ascent that follows, from km 14 to km 16 🫁. Once the finish line is in sight, give it everything you have left and raise your arms high, so you can be seen coming from afar and be cheered as you deserve 📣.
The 10 km road race, the distance of great champions and all records 🤩.
Just like the 18 km, you will start at the Chemin de Moland for a course where you will criss-cross in the small town of Ceyzériat 🔀. The vast fields of Ain will no longer hold any secrets for you 🤫.
