Set your sights on the charming town of Schwäbisch Gmünd, in Baden-Württemberg. The program invites you to tackle a true local ultra-endurance legend: the Schwäbische Alb Marathon. The flagship event is a formidable ultra-marathon that demands razor-sharp effort management. Your body will have to face some serious elevation gain and conquer merciless climbs if you hope to tame this impressive natural fortress!

The dirt and gravel trail throws you into a magnificent setting, enhanced by the blazing colors of autumn. Your effort will take you on the mythical challenge of the “Drei Kaiserberge” (the three Emperor’s mountains): Hohenstaufen, Rechberg and Stuifen. The immersion becomes dizzying when you reach these sharp summits crowned with medieval ruins and chapels.
