Have you ever run a relay race? For you, a relay might be limited to athletics and the famous baton. Or perhaps some less than glorious memories of your practice in middle school... It's time to turn the page and get into running relay races 🏃🏼‍♂️! The goal here is simple: share distances, whether short or long, with other runners. The relay race is run as well onroad as on trails, and in all seasons indeed. You can choose to run in the mountains, along the coast, or around a particular theme like heritage or theme parks! If relay racing smells of sharing and smiles, the last laugh will be at Les Relais du Zembrocal Trail, a nearly 200-kilometer race on Le Grand Raid, a mythical race held on Reunion Island! If you pass the selection trial, this incredible long trail and the stunning landscapes of this French overseas department located in the Indian Ocean are yours. Closer, on the road this time but still by the seaside, the Marathon de La Rochelle Serge Vigot is very popular. This popular race offers its runners a two-person marathon. A chance to enjoy the scenery of this area, between land and sea! Still in the area, the Marathon International du Beaujolais is also a super fun event with its fancy dress races, and not to mention the wine heritage 🍷 to discover! Want more? Let's head slightly up the west coast. Still on the Atlantic, Morbihan, a little paradise, awaits you and your friends to compete in the Marathon de Vannes. Take a little time to stroll around the city; you'll see it's charming! In the south of France, the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes is run each year by thousands of enthusiasts.
