The event in a few words

Looking for a walk that really gets you out, breathing, and gives you a great story along the way? The Ascent of Mont Rude in Brissac-Loire-Aubance is exactly that: 8 km of pleasure blending Nature, Culture and History, in Maine-et-Loire, in the heart of the Pays de la Loire 🌿.

Here, you’re not “just doing a distance”: you climb, you look around, you let yourself be surprised by the landscapes and the characterful spots, with that little taste of local adventure that puts a smile on your face 🧭.

The 8 km format is the perfect compromise: short enough to come with friends or family, punchy enough to feel proud at the finish, without completely wrecking your legs! 😄

And once the walk is over, I’ll keep you nearby for the rest of the plan: go take a look at the Château de Brissac (the local giant), then head off to stroll along the nearby Loire for a breath-of-fresh-air break 🏰.

If you want to extend things in “easy-going” mode, you can also discover the Aubance vineyards (gorgeous viewpoints) or push on to Angers to wander around the center and settle on a terrace, just a few minutes away 🍷.

You come for a walk, you leave with a mini-trip: a “rude” mount on paper, but a genuinely cool vibe in your shoes 🚶.

A distance for every taste
