The spirit of Joan Benoit Samuelson, the first Olympic marathon champion in history and the event’s founder, hovers over every inch of the asphalt 🥇. Along the roadside, count on the locals’ incredible enthusiasm to carry you from the outskirts of Crescent Beach to the finish line.

Then get behind the wheel to explore the region’s stunning surroundings within less than an hour’s drive. Take your family on an unforgettable cruise to the islands of Casco Bay, departing from Portland’s lively harbor ⛴️.
