If you're looking for a race that combines sports passion with a beautiful humanitarian goal, BloodRUN Krakow is the event for you. This unique initiative by the Małopolska Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross promotes voluntary blood donation and raises funds for its development. The route traditionally runs along the picturesque Vistula Boulevards, with the start and finish in the shadow of the Royal Castle on Wawel. Participants can choose a distance of 5 km (one loop) or 10 km (two loops), and along the route, they pass over the Father Bernatek Footbridge and Dębnicki Bridge, admiring the city panorama from both banks of the Vistula.
After battling for every second and earning a blood drop-shaped medal, Krakow offers ideal conditions for recovery:
Relax by the Vistula: Stay on the Czerwienski Boulevard to catch your breath at the Dżok the Dog Monument, or visit the nearby Krakowskie Błonia Pools, where saunas and the relaxation area will get you back on your feet after the effort.
A walk through history: Visit the Royal Castle on Wawel to feel the majesty of Poland's former capital or take a stroll to Kazimierz to experience the unique atmosphere of the historic Jewish district.
For well-deserved recovery, choose Starka Restaurant in Kazimierz, renowned for its homely atmosphere and outstanding dishes, or drop by Kluski na Placu to try regional specialties with a modern twist. If you prefer the classic in the heart of the city, Sukiennice Restaurant on the Main Square serves traditional Krakow-style beef stew that quickly replenishes your energy reserves.
This run is not just a test of endurance, but above all, a great gesture of solidarity, leaving a mark not only in your statistics but also in someone's life!
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
