The event in a few words

If running is too fast for you to truly enjoy the raw beauty of the SudetesCave Bear March is made just for you. The spring edition has something magical about it – it’s the time when the Śnieżnik Massif comes back to life, the first flowers appear at lower elevations, and patches of “winter” snow often still linger on the peaks.

This event is dedicated to lovers of Nordic Walking and hiking enthusiasts who want to test their fitness on demanding mountain trails around Kletno. Even though it’s a march, the route is no walk in the park. Technical climbs and descents await, requiring good pole work and stable footwear. 🧭⛰️

After covering the kilometers with poles in hand, the Stronie Śląskie area offers recovery that will let you fully feel the spring energy:

Mineral Water Pump Room in Stronie Śląskie: Nothing restores strength after a mountain march like a glass of local mineral-rich water. It’s a simple and effective way to rehydrate. 💧🥤

Relaxing by the Wilczki Waterfall: Located in nearby Międzygórze. The sound of falling water and the microclimate around the Sudetes’ second-highest waterfall provide natural ionization and relaxation for a tired mind. 🌊🌲

Uranium Mine in Kletno: If you want a break from the sun (or to take shelter from the rain), touring the mine’s colorful adits is a fascinating geology lesson. The unhurried pace of the visit helps your legs recover. 💎🔦

Spring is the time when local hosts offer fresh products. Tasting Sudeten cheeses and honeys from local apiaries is a delicious way to top up your energy and take the taste of the mountains home. 🧀🍯 Cave Bear March is the perfect way to actively welcome spring in one of Poland’s wildest corners. Ready to plant your poles into Sudeten soil? 🏁
