The Charcot Côte Vermeille Challenge is Port-Vendres in wide angle: the sea to cool you down, the garrigue to challenge you, and a cause that gives meaning to every effort ❤️.
Here, you come to treat yourself and move the needle: the event supports the fight against Charcot’s disease, to raise visibility, build awareness, and support research—plain and simple 🫶.
Format-wise, you choose your adventure: cross triathlon with 1 km in the sea, then 21 km by bike on trails that smell of pine, and a 9 km run to finish strong with a smile 🏁.
Prefer to come “solo”? You’ve got two on-foot routes: 9 km to enjoy without burning out, or 18 km to extend the tour and take it all in (including in your thighs) 🌿.
And if you want to take part without the clock, it’s planned: hikes on the marked routes, a bike outing (MTB/hybrid/gravel, e-assist accepted), and even 1 km in the sea on a secured course after the triathletes’ start 🌊.
Just steps from the start, settle in on the harbor and its terraces, climb up to Fort Saint-Elme for the view, head to Collioure to wander around the castle, or go to the Cap Béar lighthouse for a sunset worth every medal ✨.
Come for the salty air, the wild trails, the vibe, and that little something extra: here, your challenge has heart—not just legs.
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
