The event in a few words

Dreaming of running in the footsteps of a demigod? 🏛️

You're in luck! The next city to welcome you is located in the province of Cadiz, which, according to legend, was founded by Hercules 💪. Yes, indeed! Your next half-marathon 💨 takes place in Chiclana de la Frontera. So, if you've ever wanted to complete 12 labors 21 kilometers, head to Andalusia in April 🌸.

Did you know? In the 12 Labors of Hercules, "finishing a half-marathon in Chiclana" 🏃 is mentioned. Of course, that's not true ❌. But why not write your own story? ✍️ What makes this event unique is its dreamlike course 🤩. You'll run in an idyllic setting between city and nature 🌴, starting from the Sancti Petri Marina 🛥️, a little piece of paradise bordered by the Atlantic Ocean 🌊. In the early kilometers, you'll run along the Sancti Petri Beach 🏝️. To your right, the ocean stretches out, with the mysterious Sancti Petri Castle 🏰 perched on its rock in the distance, the remains of an old military fort 🪖. On your left, luxurious hotels line the Chiclana coast 🏨, and that's just the beginning. You'll continue along La Barrosa Beach, listed in the Michelin Green Guide as one of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia 😍. Flat, open, and fast: it's the perfect time to set your pace and aim for a new personal best 💥. Moreover, the April weather conditions are ideal: mild, dry, with just enough breeze to keep you from overheating 🥵. At the sixth kilometer, you'll leave the coastline and venture into the luxurious realm of Novo Sancti Petri. You'll then explore the Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club, designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros ⛳️. Watch out, greens on the horizon! 🏌️‍♀️ Then, the atmosphere shifts: you leave the chiclana hotels and head to the Bay of Cadiz Natural Park, where the Chiclana salt flats await you with their shades of white and pink 🦩. Trust us, you'll appreciate the soothing scenery to calm your pounding heart during the final kilometers 🧘.

Save some energy to explore this region ⚡️. Chiclana boasts white alleys and historic buildings like the San Juan Bautista Church, Santa Ana Hermitage, and the Torre del Reloj ⛪️. The city lies on the Ruta del Vino 🍷: head to the Wine and Salt Museum right in the city center 🏙️. If relaxation is on your agenda, the largest hammam in Andalusia awaits at Novo Sancti 🧖. Finally, if your heart still beats to the rhythm of castanets 🫀, know that just two short hours away, the Seville Fair will be in full swing that weekend 📍. Flamenco, traditional outfits, horses, and endless tapas await you 🎉.

So, are you ready to make your legs dance like a flamenco dancer? 💃
