The Muscle Run for the Telethon of Yutz is a day of celebration right along the riverbanks! 💦 By running or walking, the event gives participants plenty of freedom. 15, 10 or 5 km—you choose! So rally your family and friends, because you’ll be supporting a good cause 🤗. The proceeds will be donated to the AFM Telethon🤝.
Quick reminder: This organization was created in 1987 at the initiative of Bernard Barataud and Pierre Birambeau, two fathers of boys affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Since then, the goal has been to raise as much money as possible. It is used in particular to fund medical research, support patients, and develop innovative therapies 🔬. It highlights the importance of solidarity among everyone, and the importance of helping people who suffer from rare diseases 💊. During the first edition of the Yutz Telethon in 2023, €10,000 was raised to help patients—from research to recovery, the funds support every stage of care! In 2024, €21,000 was collected, and in 2025 nearly €20,000! This year, we’re counting on running enthusiasts to put their passion at the service of the cause! 💪
You’ll run (or walk) along the Yutz riverbanks 🌳, starting from the Tygres rugby club, 1 rue de la Moselle 🛶. This loop was also designed to make access easier for people with disabilities. Whether you have a disability or not, whether you use a wheelchair or not, we encourage you to take on the challenge! ⚡️Of course, if you have a disability, you’re more than welcome to take part in any of the routes! 👏
And the day doesn’t end once you’ve crossed the finish line! 😇 Drinks and food will be available throughout the event 🍽️.
So we’re looking forward to many participants in the Yutz Muscle Run for the Telethon to advance research, enable recoveries, and support people affected by illness! ❤️
