The event in a few words

It’s not without reason that the town of Susz is called the Capital of Polish Triathlon. It was here that in 1991 some of the first races in the country took place, and the atmosphere created by the locals is comparable to the legendary Challenge Roth in Germany. In Susz, everyone cheers—from kids to seniors—and the support along the run course literally carries you to the finish line! 💨

The competition takes place over various distances (including the prestigious "half", i.e., 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, and 21.1 km run). Swimming in Lake Suskie to the sound of loud music and live commentary is an experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Although Susz lives and breathes sport, after the race it’s worth catching your breath in these places:

Lake Suskie and the Promenade: This is the heart of the event. After the start, it’s worth coming back here at a relaxed pace to enjoy the view of the water without a neoprene suit on 🌊.

St. Anthony’s Church: A 14th-century Gothic building that proudly towers over the town. Its brick walls have already seen thousands of triathletes passing by on their way to a medal ⛪.

True hospitality: Susz is famous for locals putting garden hoses out in front of their homes to cool runners down on hot days. After the run, be sure to thank them by stopping for some local food—during race week in Susz, the vibe is almost family-like! 🥘

Racing in Susz is a kind of badge of honor for every triathlete in Poland. If you have a medal from Susz in your collection, it means you know the taste of true triathlon … ✨ See you in Susz, where the legend lives on! 🏁
