The Gend'trail in Samoëns in Haute-Savoie, is a mountain trail at altitude, in the heart of nature and forest. And the twist that changes everything: you experience it as a team of 3 on the same course 💛.
“Assembly” format: you start in Alpha mode, then you recruit your teammates along the way 💪.
Alpha runs 12 km alone, then picks up Bravo for 11 km, then they both pick up Charlie for the last 9 km as a trio 🤝.
Distances & D+ to know (and embrace)😅:
Runner A (Alpha): 31.36 km • 1760 D+.
Runner B (Bravo): 22.81 km • 1158 D+.
Runner C (Charlie): 8.37 km • 456 D+.
The major logistical advantage is that the start, pick up of Bravo, pick up of Charlie, and the finish all take place at the same location 😌. You manage your warm-up, your refreshment station, your pace changes, and you can really run “in tune with your heart” without worrying about shuttles 🏃.
After the race, stay in the area (within 1 hour) to extend the fun 🙂:
1) Stroll around the village of Samoëns, its alleys, and central square, perfect for active recovery 🍦.
2) Visit the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, breathtaking for families or couples 🌿.
3) Relax at the Leisure Center at Lac aux Dames (Samoëns): strolling, lawns, tranquility, ideal for tired legs 😎.
4) Take a trip to Chamonix and admire the Mont Blanc, just for the panorama (and the “I was here” photo) 📸.
If you want a trail where the mountain is shared, where team strategy matters as much as power, and where logistics are super simple, the Gend'trail ticks all the boxes ✅.
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
