Without further ado, we present the Ibiza Trail Festival! The trail takes place in Sant Antoni de Portmany and traverses several beautiful areas of the island! 😍
Since last year, this event offers 3 new distances: a Marathon, which isn't really one as it's a 48 km trail! 💪 A Semi-Marathon, often paired with 28 km 👌. And for those who prefer tackling shorter distances, either to go faster or to have fewer aches, there's the "Starter", an amazing 11 km trail! 🤝 Now that you know a bit more about what's ahead, let us tell you about the environment: In the marathon, you will pass through the small village of Santa Agnès de Corona and its white-painted houses 🤩. The semi features beautiful climbs around Sant Antoni and stunning coastal views. The Ibiza Trail Festival, are demanding races in stunning settings, with friendly people and top organization! 😎
Ibiza Trail Festival, as its name suggests, is a trail but also a festival! 🎆 This means that during the event weekend, the trail will be accompanied by a series of events, offers, and activities to fully enjoy sports, music, and gastronomy 🤗.
For your stay to go even better than planned, take some time to visit the island! 📸 You can start your adventure by strolling through the old town ofIbiza, a UNESCO World Heritage site 😍. Continue your journey by visiting the spectacular Can Marçà cave, a former smuggler's hideout turned tourist site 🌄. Enjoy pristine beaches like Cala Comte, perfect for unwinding and savoring an unforgettable sunset 🌅, if time and weather permit, you might even be able to take a swim!

In the 48 km marathon, the start will be in Sant Antoni de Portmany, and will follow the same route as the 28 km for 14 km. You will then take a trail towards Santa Agnès de Corona until the area of Es Broll. From there, the course returns towards El Pla, and around km 34, it joins the return path to Sant Antoni, which is shared with the 28 km course up to the finish line ⛵.
As with the other races, the start of the 28 km is on the promenade, you will need to tackle the first elevation gain at Sa Talaia de Sant Antoni, then head towards the heart of the municipality. At km 10.5, you will have reached almost 600 meters of elevation gain. The route continues on trails of medium technical level, with an ascent up to km 15, where the second refreshment station is located. The course turns back towards the finish line by hugging the coast, offering you a view of the coastline of Sant Antoni de Portmany 🌊.
The route of the "Starter" 11 km takes place near the city center, with a good uphill gradient in the first kilometers, followed by a second half with breathtaking views of the coast of Sant Antoni de Portmany 🌀.
Bibs will be distributed on Friday, October 24, 2025, between 4 PM and 8 PM, at the Blau Park Hotel in Sant Antoni de Portmany (Calle Velázquez 9) and on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 7 AM to 9 PM, in the departure area.

To participate in the marathon, you must be at least 18 years old.
For the 48 km distance, it is essential to bring a headlamp (running lighting), a charged mobile phone, a windbreaker or a raincoat (depending on weather conditions), a cup, and a thermal blanket.

For the starting distance, no equipment is required, but it is essential to bring your own cup if you plan to refuel.
Here is the number of refreshment points available for each race:
48 km: 5 refreshment points plus one at the finish line

11 km: 1 refreshment point plus one at the finish line
Trophies will be awarded to the top three in the general ranking and the top person in each category of each event.
