Independence Run Ząbki 2026

Time to start in one of the most solemn, joyful and white-and-red runs in the region 💪! The Independence Run in Ząbki is a unique event that every year brings together hundreds of patriots, professional runners, amateurs and entire families who want to celebrate National Independence Day in a sporty way. Participants can usually look forward to a fast, flat and excellently secured course (most often on the symbolic and dynamic distance of 5 km or 10 km) ⏱️, which is perfect for setting autumn personal bests. The extraordinary atmosphere, a sea of white-and-red shirts, singing the anthem together before the start and the powerful cheering of local residents guarantee goosebumps on the start line!

Ząbki, bordering directly on Warsaw, is a dynamically developing city that buzzes with incredible energy during the November holiday. After crossing the finish line with your hands raised, picking up a beautiful commemorative medal and warming up with delicious military-style pea soup, it’s worth spending the rest of the holiday weekend relaxing with loved ones 🥇:

Recharge at the Municipal Sports Center in Ząbki – the modern swimming pool as well as the SPA and sauna zone are an absolute bullseye for warming up after a brisk November start and loosening tense muscles 🌊.

Go for a walk in the nearby Rembertów Forest – the woodland areas surrounding the region, in a late-autumn nostalgic aura, offer silence, calm and perfect conditions for a soothing, restorative walk away from the city noise 🌲.

Visit historic Warsaw Praga – from Ząbki you can get to the right-bank part of the capital in no time (in just a dozen or so minutes). Discover atmospheric Ząbkowska Street, the industrial Koneser Center and the unique Polish Vodka Museum or the Neon Museum 🏭.

Ząbki is excellently connected with the capital – the suburban train ride to Warsaw Wileńska takes just 7 minutes! Thanks to this, in about 30–40 minutes you can check in right in the very center of Warsaw to continue the celebrations.
