The very charming town of Bolton opens its doors wide in the Greater Manchester for a Half IRONMAN that offers no mercy 👑. We kick off harshly with hostilities in the cool waters of the famous Pennington Flash lake for 1.9 km of swimming. This is followed by the dreaded 90 km cycling section with about 1,200 m elevation gain on the particularly hilly roads of Lancashire 🚴‍♂️. Finally, we complete this long adventure with 21.1 km of running in the heart of the city center, with very little elevation gain on the counter 🏃‍♂️.

The bike portion has some sharp climbs and sections entirely exposed to the capricious winds of the moors.
