La Rochelle Half Marathon 2026

The event in a few words

Let's be clear! You don't need a race to discover La Rochelle, such a pleasant city, bordered by the ocean ๐ŸŒŠ, offering sensational sights, no matter your desires ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. But if you also have the chance to run the La Rochelle Half Marathon in the pleasant temperatures ๐ŸŒก๏ธ of March, what more could you ask for? Come run in this city of Charente-Maritime, you'll see, your memories will be engraved in La Rochelle! ๐Ÿชจ

Two distances are offered for this event in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, but what an event: a half marathon and a 5 km! ๐Ÿ‘ The Half Marathon is also offered as a duo challenge ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Itโ€™s an entirely paved road course waiting for you ๐Ÿ›ฃ๏ธ. Worried? Thinking it won't be very nice? Think again! It's in the city where you'll run and that's where the interest of the event lies. Thanks to this tour crafted by the organizers, you'll discover all the noteworthy places of the city ๐Ÿ—ฝ. You'll pass by the Old Port (but not that of Marseille), cross Charruyer Park, Franck Delmas Park Franck Delmas before heading to the Mail Alleys. But thatโ€™s not all! Youโ€™ll also have the chance to admire the Port Neuf Bay ๐Ÿคฉ. A remarkable event for its environment and its sporting aspect ๐Ÿ˜…: it's worth noting that this half marathon is qualifying for the French championship. ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท

We already know that after the race, you'll stay around to enjoy this city where life is good. In March, it might still be a little cold ๐Ÿฅถ for a swim ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ, but why not jump in for a laugh ๐Ÿ˜‚? As for sightseeing, La Rochelle, nicknamed the white city by the English ๐Ÿฅฉ, is full of surprises ๐ŸŽ. We recommend checking out the towers of La Rochelle, visiting the Saint-Louis Cathedral or the bunker museum. For a slightly adventurous trip, take a detour through the surrounding villages between typical settings and the Atlantic Ocean. Total escape! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Afterwards, sit on a terrace overlooking the port. Don't hold back, especially to enjoy some pavรฉs de La Rochelle or the authentic galette charentaise! ๐Ÿ˜‹

La Rochelle, how beautiful it is!
