In October, bring out your finest coat and sharpen your legs to come take on the most friendly 10 km in the Hauts-de-Seine 🐆.
At Les Foulées de Nanterre, everyone can get in the Seine—we don't reserve the asphalt only for the elite of running. It would be a shame to miss out on such scenery: halfway between the urban landscape and the Parisian riverbanks 💦, you'll see every color. The race smells like festivities, legendary distances, and records being broken. Kids formats, 5 km or 10 km will make you feel like you're at a real running 👟 festival.
In Nanterre, a strong emphasis is placed on sharing, discovery, and enjoyment 🤘. That's why there are just as many adult races as children's races: no one is left behind. For runners focused on performance: the 10 km is the dream distance 💭. The event lets you directly compare your times with those of the best international athletes. In short, you'll quickly find out what you're worth in runner vocabulary: sub60, sub50 or sub40—it's up to you to prove it 😎. If you like nice round numbers but 10 km feels like a lot, you can sign up for the 5 km format. A distance that reeks of speed and power 💥. Barely enough time to tell yourself you need to manage your effort, and you're already on the finish-line. On their side, children can choose between 1.6 km, 1 km, or even a "Galopade" format, designed for toddlers. As they say at Finishers: "If you can walk, then you can run" 😂. And speaking of walking, the 5 km format can also be done as Nordic walking. Poles, friends, motivation, and off you go for a lap! 🔁
If you enjoyed the in-the-city vibe, don't pack your bags right away (de Nanterre 🤦♂️)! For the post-race, you're spoiled for choice: chill recovery around La Défense, a stroll at the foot of the Eiffel Tower or a little trip into nature at Parc des Buttes-Chaumont! Don't want to take public transport? No worries: Parc André-Malraux in Nanterre, and the Île de Puteaux on the banks of the Seine are also within walking distance to breathe and unwind 🌳.
So, ready to roar with pleasure? 😁
A word from the organizer:
"In 2025, we broke the participant record with 500 runners! This year, we're back with a brand-new course along the Seine riverbanks."
The 10 km of the Foulées de Nanterre is, above all, a start at 11 a.m., late morning for the longest format of the day 😮💨. You’ll have well earned the finish-line refreshments!

The start is given right in the middle of the morning, at 10 a.m., for an urban loop along the banks of the Seine 🌊. The course stays fast and flowing from start to finish, perfect for letting off steam and smashing your time 🤯.
This route is for young people born between 2013 and 2015 👶. This introductory session follows the banks of the Seine, as with all the routes. A gentle format that combines technical discovery and the pleasure of running in a group 🥢.
The start is given late morning from Parc du chemin de l'Île, for a short loop reserved for the youngest, born between 2017 and 2020 🏃. The route is flat and fast, in a format designed to give a taste for running without excessive effort 🤪.
