The event in a few words

Want to kick off the year with a strong trail accent? Mosina Winter Run is one of the most popular winter running events in Greater Poland. The race route leads through the picturesque, snow-covered and surprisingly undulating paths of the Wielkopolska National Park, offering clean air and beautiful forest views. Numerous climbs and changing winter terrain guarantee great fun. Mosina itself lies right next to Poznań, and you can get there by car or train in just 20–30 minutes 🚗

After crossing the finish line and collecting your commemorative medal, it’s worth staying in the area longer, because Mosina and its scenic surroundings hide plenty of charming spots perfect for a relaxing getaway for two or a family trip:

A trip to the Observation Tower in Mosina: Located on Pożegowo, the wooden tower offers a brilliant panorama of the area and Poznań. It’s a great place for a peaceful walk and a souvenir photo 🗼.

A winter walk by Lake Góreckie: This is the most beautiful lake in the national park. From the shore you can admire the romantic ruins of a neo-Gothic castle rising on Castle Island 🏰.

A visit to the Rogalin Palace Museum: Located just a stone’s throw from Mosina, the baroque-classicist palace is famous for its beautiful French garden and enormous, centuries-old oaks (Lech, Czech and Rus) 🌳.

Traditional Greater Poland “pyry z gzikiem”: After a chilly run, you need to warm up quickly. Local restaurants will treat you to filling potatoes with cottage cheese, warming sour rye soup (żurek), and hot tea with honey 🍲.

Catch the winter running rhythm and report to the start line in Mosina!
