The event in a few words

Get ready to see life in pink 💕... but this time with a generous dose of Mediterranean sunshine ☀️! Welcome to Odysséa Marseille, the meeting point where your cardio will finally be used for something other than chasing after the tramway 🚋. Let’s meet in Marseille 🗓️, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, for a wave of solidarity benefiting the fight against breast cancer and the Paoli Calmette Institute, the association Vivre comme avant, and the AP-HM, specifically Un K au Féminin. 🙏. And as a bonus, you’re in a period when the springtime warmth turns the city into a postcard without risking ending up like a grilled pizza on the Old Port 🍕🔥.

The menu is more enticing than a well-spiced bouillabaisse 🍲: a 10 km for those who have the wanderlust and a 5 km (race or walk) untimed for those who prefer to enjoy the moment and chat 🗣️. And the cherry on the cake? 🍰 You can participate remotely thanks to the connected version. No matter where you are, you can run with the community 💻. Isn't that great? 😍!

The Marseilles route, it has that little taste of freedom: between seashore and city 🌊. You run with the Old Port not far ⚓️, breathe the sea air, go along open spaces and feel the sun kiss your face ☀️. The elevation? Gentle enough not to make you regret signing up, but motivating enough to earn your medal 🏅. It’s Marseille baby: it smells of the south, the party, and the energy, with that extra bit of soul that makes you want to smile even when it stings a little in your legs 😄.

At some point, your body might say, “shall we slow down?” 📩. But around you, there’s encouragement, applause, motivation 👏. And you keep going. Because you know why you are there, for whom you are there 🎀. Because you move forward with hundreds (even thousands) of other participants 🏃‍♂️. And because deep down, even if your legs complain, your mind has already decided to go all the way 💪. Odysséa, that’s what it is: a mix of effort, emotion, and solidarity ❤️‍🩹. And for the younger ones, no excuse: even the little champions can put on their sneakers 👟 with a race dedicated to children, "I Run for Mom."

And once you cross the finish line 🏁, extend the pleasure. Marseille, it’s the perfect city to enjoy the post-race 😏. Stroll through the calanques or on the Mediterranean coast 🌊, through the alleys of the center, and of course... don't miss the local gastronomy 😮‍💨. Between a good bouillabaisse, some panisses, and a Marseilles navette for "recovery" 🍪, you clearly have everything you need to recharge your batteries 🔋. And if someone asks why you're eating so much, you can answer very seriously: "it's for recovery" 😄.

So, will you be there? 🤓

4 reasons to join this race

Run for a meaningful cause ❤️‍🩹
Participating in Odysséa is much more than just a sporting challenge: it's turning your effort into tangible support in the fight against breast cancer. Every step contributes to funding research and supporting those affected. In the end, few races can boast of giving as much meaning to every drop of sweat. Clearly, it's much more valuable than a time ⏱️.
An exceptional setting between sea and city ⛵️
Marseille is the perfect combo: the sun, the sea, and the ambiance that makes you say “okay, just one more kilometer.” Between the Old Port and the sea breeze, you certainly feel like you're out on an excursion... except that you're running. And somehow, it's much more enjoyable with such a backdrop 🌅.
An atmosphere that almost makes you forget the pain 💃
Even before the start, you're swept up in a wave of collective energy: music, group warm-ups, and people smiling even though you're already a bit out of breath 😄. And during the race, between the cheers and the other participants, you end up telling yourself that, actually… it's okay (well, until your calves start burning again) 😅.
Running with purpose, without the hassle 🌍
Here, you can run in an engaged mode without having to change your entire life. Less waste, more common sense, and a real desire to do things right. Basically, you exercise, support a cause, and can even say you're doing a little something for the planet. Not bad for a running outing, right? 😄
