The Philippides Night Relay is Agen in adventure mode: you leave the city lights behind to head out into nature and the forest, with that little night-time thrill that makes everything more intense 🌙.

Here, you’re coming for a crew vibe: you can run as a team over 9.5 km, or go all-in together on 13, 15, or 16 km as a relay—and if you prefer the “two brains, four legs” format, you’ve got the duo in 22.5 km or 32 km 🔦.

And if you want a real adventure novel of your own, there’s also the 54 km: plenty to come home with stories to tell (and a few very believable “I saw stuff in the woods”) 🌲.

Coming with the family? There’s a kids’ race, perfect for giving them a taste of the night without playing big bad wolves, while you get ready to “pass the baton” without ever sitting one out 😉.

After the effort, go unwind along the Garonne Lateral Canal for a peaceful stroll, head up to the Ermitage Plateau for a view that clears the mind, swing by the Agen Museum of Fine Arts (a way to walk without rushing), or settle onto a terrace around Place des Laitiers to relive the race and toast to “Philippides, phili-not so easy” 🏛️.
