The event in a few words

Time for a truly royal stage race and sharp elevation gains! Silesia Bike in Wisła (or the iconic MTB marathons held in this area) is an option for those who aren’t afraid of burning calves and extreme emotions. We’re heading straight into the heart of the Silesian Beskids.

Wisła is a true mecca for mountain biking. The local route is the complete opposite of flat lowland paths – steep, brutal climbs await you (around Stożek, Soszów or Trzy Kopce), technical descents full of loose stones, treacherous roots and singletracks that demand total focus. The reward for this gigantic effort, however, is breathtaking mountain panoramas. You can easily get to Wisła by car or train from Bielsko-Biała, Katowice or Żywiec 🚗.

After the grueling race and checking in at the finish line, your muscles will be begging for rest. Wisła is the perfect place for mountain recovery for two or with the whole family:

Adam Małysz Ski Jump in Malinka: A must-see on every visit to Wisła. You can take a chairlift all the way to the top of the start tower, from where there’s an incredible view of the Beskid valleys, and feel what the jumpers see before they fly ⛷️.

A stroll along the promenade and the boulevards by the Vistula: Relax on a peaceful walk along the banks of the Vistula River (here it’s still a charming mountain stream). In the city center it’s worth visiting the Spa House to see the famous chocolate sculpture of Adam Małysz 🍫.

Waterfall in Wisła Czarne and the President’s Little Castle: Head to the area where the Biała Wisełka and Czarna Wisełka streams meet. There you’ll find a picturesque 8-meter artificial waterfall and, a bit higher up, the historic Residence of the President of the Republic of Poland – the Castle in Wisła, offering beautiful walking routes 🏰.

A true highlander feast: After burning thousands of calories on the Beskid trails, it’s time for something substantial. Traditional inns will treat you to sauerkraut soup with ribs, potato pancakes with cracklings and melted Ujsoły cheese, or the iconic dumplings with bryndza 🍲.

Drop into your easiest gear, get ready for a solid climb, and feel the true call of the mountains during Silesia Bike in Wisła!
